shayla: *eye widen* yes...i really want to know

Jon: The truthful thruth, and I swear by all things good, is this. When Allysa was with her grandmother in Tennessee, she started having trouble with her voice and went to the doctor to get checked out. The doctor did some tests and, long story short, She found out that she has some type of vocal cancer. Yes, she's going to record with her boyfriend's band, but she has to get that done before her voice either goes out or is torn up by the surgery. Even the doctors don't know if she'll have her voice when she comes out of the surgery.

shayla: *speechless with an OMG look on my face, places my face into my hands and starts crying*

Jon pulls Shayla closer. He hold her to his chest, rubing her back to calm her. Tears now escape his eyes. He'd been fighting these tears awhile now. Allysa and Malachi enter the room, hand in hand.

Allysa: *moves to sit next to Shayla, Malachi follows* Shayla, everything will be okay, just trust in God. He has a plan. I promise. *puts arm around Shayla*

shayla: *holding on to jonny still crying she cant speak from being so shocked over the news but nods at her sister*


Dw: *gets off the cell and looks through the door seeing jonny and shayla, and allysa and malachi. looks down and walks outside to make another call*

Malachi: *looks up to see Dw, whispers to Allysa* I'll be right back, baby.

Allysa: *nods and stays by Shayla*

Malachi: *walks out to stand by Dw, doesn't say anything for about five min. trying to figure out what to say*

w: *looks back in the room for a quick second to look at shayla and then turns to malachi*

Malachi: You left pretty quick. Why didn't you stay to comfort your friend?

Dw: I want to but looks like Jonny beat me to it huh?
i think she needs him right now anyways...i'm still gonna stay here with her...but..

Malachi: She could use her best friend, though. Why would you leave her without you? This is her sister she so upset about. She needs everyone she can get. I know, I'm in the same position.

Dw: *sighs* you right. im gonna go help comfort her

Malachi: *smiles and follows Dw in*

Allysa: *crying with hand over mouth, can't tell what she's saying*

Jon: *crying harder*

Chad: *confused in the corner*

Lisa: *wondering how they even got in there*

Dw: *walks over to the other side of shayla and also puts his arm areound her to comfort her.*

shayla: *also crying harder still holding on to jon but glad that Dw is here too*

Doctor: Why are we all crying?

Chad: I don't know why.

Malachi: We have someone with cancer in this room, and her sister is just finding out.

Shayla: *now crying really hard, falls to my knees. my face in my hands*

Chad: What?

Lisa: Allysa?

Allysa: *hand comes off mouth, falls to be with Shayla* OH GOD HELP US NOW!

Malachi: *gets on knees with Allysa and Shayla*

Jon: *follows Allysa and Malachi, leaving room for Dw*

BDB shifts slightly in his bed. breathing speeds up a little more, but not too much.

Dw: *falls next to shayla taking her in his arms*

Jon: Shayla, you know we all love you, right?

Lisa: Some of us more than others....

Chad: Hey, Lis, leave him alone.

Jon: Anyways...... We are here and we won't leave your side.

Allysa: *cuts him off* OH, THANK YOU JESUS!

Jon: See, Allysa's already praying.

Malachi: I've had our church back in Tennessee praying for all of you. Look what you've been through now. If your best friend survived a car crash, don't you think Allysa will keep her voice through her surgery?

???: I belive she will. She's really strong.

Allysa: *forgetting to cover her mouth, speaking in tounges*

???: That's still freaky Malachi.

Malachi: I know Abby.

Abby: Momma wants us home within four days.

Malachi: Be there in three.

Abby: K.

shayla: I know. and im greatful i have such an amazing family that i know will be there for both allysa and i and everyone else.

Dw: *lets go of shayla cause his cell phone rings again*
shayla, you know im here for you. i will always be here for you.

Shayla: *hugs him *

Dw: *looks at cell.* heyy..thats mom. i gotta take this.. i'l be right back. promise *exits the room*

Jon: That's one awesome best friend right there.

Allysa: *deep breath, then done praying* Hey, there's another one right in front of me. You've been a great friend, Jon.

Jon: Never could I be the best.

Allysa: *brittish accent* Yet you never let go of the one's you love the most. Look you still hold Shayla now!

Jon: *blushes*

Malachi: Hey, that tears up your vocals, dear.

Allysa: *normal voice* I know...

Shayla: *still wiping away tears*
*looks at jonny and smiles*

Jon: *thinks to himself* Wish that it was more for us. *speaking* I'm glad you're feeling better.

Allysa: Who's wanting to head home? It's getting dark and we can't stay here all night.

Lisa: I'm ready.

Chad: I'm coming back first thing tomorrow.

Jon: Only if Shayla's going home.

Malachi: Yeah, I guess.

Abby: Oh, I get to sleep on a bed tonight? Awesome!

shayla: *nods* thanks.
yeah im gonna head home myself. though i dont think i can sleep....

Dw: *walks in a bit upset but doesnt let shayla see*
i guess we're all headed home then?

Allysa: Yep. Everyone out to the bus. *holds back Malachi* We'll meet you in a bit.

Jon: *helps Shayla up and smiles* Let's go.

Everyone but Allysa and Malachi leaves. Malachi looks confused.

Malachi: What's wrong, Allysa?

Allysa: *tears finally break* I've had too much on me Malachi. And my family doesn't have one calm person left, except for Bob. Bob has known the truth since I came back home. Bob understood everything I said. Just like you. Now, I have no one left to turn to, with the trouble being me leaving. Jon's got Shayla, but Lisa and Chad fight over a lot of stuff. I don't think I could jus-

Malachi: *put a single finger to Allysa's lips* Shhhh, it's okay, baby, just calm down now. I've got you. I'll be with you all the way.

Allysa: But I-

Malachi: *cuts Allysa off with a kiss*

Allysa: *blushes and smiles*

Malachi: Let's go. I'll drive, so you can get a break. *kisses Allysa again*

-On the bus with everyone else-

Shayla: *sitting next to jon....yawns*

Dw: *sitting in the seat behind them*
