Chapter 1
Reunited With An Old Friend

Ethan, Marnie and Dylan are sitting outside Witch U. All of a sudden a younger lady walked over to them.
“Is that you Ethan Dalloway?” the young lady asked.
“Yes that’s me.” Ethan answered.
“It’s me Gillianne Russo.” The young lady said.
Ethan got to his feet and hugged Gillianne.
“It’s so great to see you again.” Ethan replied.
Marnie looked at Gillianne and than at Ethan.
“Who is this lady?” Marnie asked.
“She was my best friend growing up.” Ethan answered.
“Hi there, my name is Marnie Cromwell and this is my brother Dylan.” Marnie said.
“You’re Marnie Cromwell?” Gillianne asked.
Marnie nodded her head.
“Yes I am.” Marnie answered.
“Wow I’ve heard so much about your family and it’s an honor to finally meet you.” Gillianne said.
“Thanks Gillianne.” Marnie replied.
“How have you been doing?” Ethan asked.
“I’ve been okay except that Beanon Merton doesn’t seem to want to have anything do with me but that’s okay because I’m starting to like someone else anyway.” Gillianne answered.
“Who are you starting to like?” Ethan asked.
“His name is Gideon Brooks and he just starting hanging around my gang of friends a few months back.” Gillianne answered.
“Does he like you?” Ethan asked.
“I’m not really sure.” Gillianne answered.
“Well I’m sure that if he does he’ll let you know.” Ethan said.
“There’s just one problem.” Gillianne replied.
“What’s that?” Ethan asked.
“Gideon is almost 14 years older than me.” Gillianne answered.
“Why is that a problem?” Ethan asked.
“My father is really strict about the ages of the guys that I like.” Gillianne answered.
All of a sudden Gideon shows up with the rest of Gillianne’s friend. Gideon smiled.
“Hi Gillianne.” Gideon said.
“Hi Gideon.” Gillianne replied.
Gideon looked at Ethan, Marnie and Dylan.
“Who are your friends?” Gideon asked.
“I’m Ethan Dalloway and I’ve been friends with Gillianne since we were little.” Ethan answered.
“I’m Marnie Cromwell and this is my brother Dylan.” Marnie said.
Ethan sighed. Gillianne took Ethan by the hand and lead him out of earshot.
“What’s your problem?” Gillianne asked.
“I’m madly in love with Marine but everytime I try to tell I just can’t.” Ethan answered.
“You need to tell her soon and you’ll lose her altogether.” Gillianne said.
Ethan and Gillianne walked back over to the others. Gideon sighed. Beanon rolled his eyes.
“When you going to tell her?” Beanon asked.
“I don’t know.” Gideon answered.
“Who are you talking about?” Gillianne asked.
Gideon sighed again.
“I’m talking about you.” Beanon answered.
“What about me?” Gillianne asked.
“Gideon is madly in love with you.” Sterling answered.
Gideon rolled his brown eyes.
“Thanks a lot big mouth.” Gideon said.
Gideon walked off. Gillianne just stood there in shock.
“You should go after him.” Melina replied.
Gillianne sighed than ran after Gideon. Gideon sighed and turned around.
“Why are you following me?” Gideon asked.
“I didn’t want you go away mad at me.” Gillianne answered.
Gideon smiled and hugged Gillianne.
“I could never be mad at you and even if I was it won’t last long.” Gideon answered.
“Are you really madly in love with me?” Gillianne asked.
“Yeah I am.” Gideon answered.
“How long have you felt this way?” Gillianne asked.
“I’ve felt this way ever since I first met you.” Gideon answered.
“That was almost a year and half.” Gillianne said.
“Yeah I know but I remember it like it was yesterday.” Gideon said.
~Flashback to almost a year and half~
Gillianne is hanging out with her friends. Jordon suddenly showed up with a new guy.
“Who’s your new friend?” Sterling asked.
“This is Gideon Brooks.” Jordon answered.
Gideon took one look at Gillianne and fell madly in love with her.
“Hi Gideon, I’m Gillianne Russo.” Gillianne said.
“It’s nice to meet you.” Gideon replied.
Jordon and Beanon exchanged looks. Jordon took Gideon out of earshot.
“What’s wrong you man?” Jordon asked.
“Gillianne is so beautiful.” Gideon answered.
“Are you in love with her?” Jordon asked.
“Yes I am but please don’t tell her.” Gideon answered.
~End of flashback~
“Why didn’t you want Jordon to tell me?” Gillianne asked.
“I wanted to wait until the perfect moment to tell you myself.” Gideon answered.
Gillianne smiled.
“Well I have to admit that I’ve been falling for you too but after how many times I’ve been hurt it’s going to take me awhile to get over it.” Gillianne said.
Gideon pulled Gillianne close to him.
“That’s alright because you take all time that you need.” Gideon said.
Gillianne smiled.
“Thanks for understanding.” Gillianne replied.
A few hours pass. Gideon is bed dreaming of his future with Gillianne and Gillianne is dreaming of her future with Gideon.

Getting Closer

It’s been a few days since Gillianne found out that Gideon is madly in love with her. Gillianne is at home in her bedroom. Gillianne turned on the DVD player to disc 3 song 2. The song Mad About You by Belinda Carlisle started to play. Gillianne started to sing along with it.

Gillianne’s older sister Shakera walked by the door.
“Why are you singing that song?” Shakera asked.
“It just suits me after what I found out a few days ago.” Gillianne answered.
Shakera walked into the room and shut the door behind her. Shakera sat on Gillianne’s bed.
“What did you find out?” Shakera asked.
“I found out the new guy named Gideon Brooks that hangs out with my gang of friends has been madly in love with since the first time he met me.” Gillianne answered.
“How old is he?” Shakera asked.
Gillianne sighed.
“He’s 39 years old.” Gillianne answered.
“Dad, we never let you date him.” Shakera said.
“Yeah I know but I really like him.” Gillianne replied.
There’s a knock on the door. Gillianne got to her feet and opened the door to find her father Dewayne standing on the other side.
“Your friend Melina wants you on the phone.” Dewayne said.
Gillianne walked to downstairs to the phone and picked it up.
“Hi Mel.” Gillianne said.
“How are you today?” Melina asked.
“I’m just fine.” Gillianne answered.
“Well I have someone here that really wants to talk to you.” Melina said.
“Who would that be?” Gillianne asked.
“Gideon of course.” Melina answered.
“Melina passed the phone to Gideon.
“Hi Gillianne.” Gideon said.
Gillianne smiled.
“How are you today?” Gillianne asked.
“I’m really good but I’d better if you were around.” Gideon answered.
“Where are you?” Gillianne asked.
“We are at Jordon’s house.” Gideon answered.
“I’m on my way over than.” Gillianne said.
“That’s great and I’ll see when you get here.” Gideon replied.
Gillianne and Gideon hang up the phone. Dewayne looked at Gillianne.
“What did Melina want?” Dewayne asked.
“The gang is at Jordon’s place so I’m going over.” Gillianne answered.
“Okay than have fun.” Gillianne said.
Gillianne started walking over to Jordon’s place. Gillianne arrived at Jordon’s place and knocked on the door. Jordon opened the door.
“Come on in.” Jordon said.
Gillianne walked inside. Gideon jumped to his feet and walked over to Gillianne. Gideon pulled Gillianne into his arms and hugged her. Gillianne smiled.
“Wow, Gideon’s embrace is so strong.” Gillianne thought to herself.
Gideon noticed Gillianne deep in thought.
“What are you thinking about?” Gideon asked.
“I was just thinking about how strong your embrace is.” Gillianne answered.
Gideon smiled a little.
“How would you like to go to see a movie with me on Friday night?” Gideon asked.
“I would love to.” Gillianne answered.
“Alright that’s great.” Gideon said.
Gillianne stayed at Jordon’s place for awhile than headed home. All of a sudden Ethan walked up to Gillianne.
“Hi Ethan.” Gillianne said.
“Hello Gillianne.” Ethan replied.
Ethan sighed.
“Have you told Marnie how you feel yet?” Gillianne asked.
“No, I haven’t because I’m scared that she’ll turn me down.” Ethan answered.
“You have to tell before it’s too late.” Gillianne said.
“I know that but I just can’t.” Ethan replied.
It’s a few hours later now. Gillianne is bed dreaming of her date with Gideon. Gideon is bed dreaming of Gillianne. Ethan is in bed dreaming of Marine.
