    Part 1

NARRATOR: Today Brenda Blue has a very special visitor coming to stay with her at Tarrytown.
BRENDA: Everyone come quick I have someone special I’d like you all to meet.
JAY JAY: Well, Brenda who is this special someone you’d like us to meet?
BRENDA: Well, Jay Jay that special someone just so happens to be my 18 year old daughter who is also gonna be my assistant.
    ALL: Your daughter!?!
    BRENDA: Yes, my daughter.
SNUFFY: Brenda what’s your daughter’s name?
BRENDA: My daughter’s name is Amber, Amber Blue. And she is right here, well I thought she was standing right next to me. Everyone I have to tell you a little secret about my daughter, you see when she has to meet new people she becomes a little shy.
TRACY: Brenda, I think she’s right behind you.
BRENDA: Well there you are Amber. Come out from behind me Sweetie and meet my friends.
    AMBER: Ok, Mom. Hi everyone.
BRENDA: Sweetie I’d like you to meet...
AMBER (interrupting): Jay Jay, Tracy, Herky, Snuffy, Big Jake, Old Oscar, Savannah, Revvin’ Evan and Tuffy the Tiny Tow Truck.
BRENDA: Sweetie how did you know all of their names.
NARRATOR: Yes, Amber did know all of Brenda’s friend’s names, but Brenda doesn’t remember telling Amber all of their names.
BRENDA: Sweetie did I tell you all of their names because I can’t remember telling you their names.
AMBER: Mom you can’t remember if you told me their names or not?
BRENDA: No, I can’t remember Sweetie.
BIG JAKE: Brenda, sorry for interrupting this family reunion, but do you have any deliveries for us to do?
BRENDA: Well as a matter of fact I do Big Jake and here they are everyone.
ALL: Thank you Brenda we’ll get right on them right away.
    BRENDA: You’re welcome, everyone.
AMBER: Mom, I wrote two songs for you on my 18th birthday the first one is called “The Perfect Fan” and Mom that song is, of course, dedicated to you, and here it is:
It takes a lot to know what is love
It’s not the big things, but the little things
    That can mean enough
A lot of prayers to get me through
And there is never a day that passes by
    I don’t think of you
You were always there for me
    Pushing me and guiding me
    Always to succeed.
    CHORUS:
    You showed me
When I was young just how to grow
    You showed me
    Everything that I should know
    You showed me
Just how to walk without your hands
    ‘Cause mom you always were
    The perfect fan.
    God has been so good
    Blessing me with a family
    Who did all they could
And I’ve had many years of grace
And it flatters me when I see a smile on your face
I wanna thank you for all your laughter
In hopes I can give back to you
    And be the perfect daughter.
    CHORUS:
    You showed me
When I was young just how to grow
    You showed me
    Everything that I should know
    You showed me
Just how to walk without your hands
    ‘Cause mom you always were
    The perfect fan.
You showed me how to love
You showed me how to care
And you showed me that you would always be there
I wanna thank you for that time
And I’m proud to say you’re mine.
    CHORUS:
    You showed me
When I was young just how to grow
    You showed me
    Everything that I should know
    You showed me
Just how to walk without your hands
    ‘Cause mom you always were
    The perfect fan.
‘Cause mom you always were, Mom you always were
Mom you always were, you know you always were
‘Cause mom you always were... the perfect fan.
    I love you mom.

BRENDA: Oh, Sweetie that was very, very Beautiful I really did love that song.
AMBER: Why thank you Mom I knew you were gonna love that song.
BRENDA: Sweetie don’t you have a second song that you wrote for me on your 18th birthday?
AMBER: I did? Oh, yeah, I remember now and that song I wrote for you on my 18th birthday is called “Brenda.”
BRENDA: Sweetie you named that song “Brenda,” but why Sweetie why did you name that song “Brenda?”
AMBER: Mom you will see why tomorrow when I sing that song to you and everyone else.
BRENDA: OK. Sweetie, I’ll guess I’ll wait until tomorrow to know why you named that song “Brenda.”
NARRATOR: Yes it is true Amber did write a song called “Brenda” which is dedicated to none other than Amber’s BEAUTIFUL mother Brenda Blue. Oh, yes, Amber says that she has the most BEAUTIFUL mother in the whole entire universe.

    Part 2

NARRATOR: Early the next morning Brenda Blue had a hard time trying to get her daughter to wake up, but Amber wouldn’t wake up at all, unless Brenda gave her daughter a kiss on the cheek. So that’s exactly what Brenda did and you’ll never guess what happened.
BRENDA: I know how to wake her up. I’ll just give her a kiss on the cheek and I’m sure she’ll wake up.
AMBER: OK. Mom I’m up! I’m up! (Yawning)
BRENDA: Sweetie didn’t you say yesterday that you were gonna sing a song to me tomorrow and you know tomorrow is today, right?
AMBER: That’s right Mom. I did say that. I was gonna sing you a song today but I won’t sing it until it gets a little darker. OK Mom.
BRENDA: Alright Sweetie I’ll guess I’ll wait until it gets a little darker.
NARRATOR: So that’s what they both did. In the meantime Brenda and her daughter Amber went to Smiling Meadow to have a picnic for just the two of them.
BRENDA: Well Sweetie I think we better get back to Tarrytown Airport.
AMBER: Mom I don’t want to leave yet. Can we stay a little while longer Mom? Please.
BRENDA: Why Sweetie why do you want to stay a little while longer?
AMBER: Well Mom I wrote you a little poem. The poem is called “A Poem about Brenda Blue” and I wrote it eight days before my 18th birthday and here it is:
B is for how Beautiful you look every day.
R is for all the Repairs you do every day.
E is for how Excellent you do those repairs every day.
N is for how Nice you are to all your new and old friends.
D is for how Dazzling you look with your hair up or down.
A is for the Angel that you are every day.
B is for all your Bravery that you have.
L is for how Lovable you are to all of your friends.
U is for how Unique you are in your own special way.
E is for how Elegant you look every day.

BRENDA: Oh, Sweetie that was very & I mean very Beautiful.
NARRATOR: After Amber read Brenda that poem they decided to go back home to Tarrytown Airport. As soon as they got back it was getting darker and Amber was gonna sing that song to her Mother that she wrote for Brenda on your 18th birthday.
BRENDA: Everyone tonight my daughter is gonna sing a song to me tonight.
HERKY: Brenda what is the song that Amber is gonna sing to you tonight.
BRENDA: Well, Herky the song she’s gonna song is called “Brenda.”
SAVANNAH: It is? Why is it called that Brenda?
BRENDA: Well, Savannah and everyone the reason why Amber called it that is because she wrote that song on her 18th birthday and when she did she was thinking of me at the time and that’s why it is called “Brenda.” OK, Sweetie you can sing the song now.
AMBER: Why thank you Mom. Yes the song is called “Brenda” and I did write this song on my 18th birthday and I was thinking of my mom when I wrote this song and Mom here it is:
This is a story about a girl named Brenda…
    Early morning,
    she wakes up
    Knock, knock, knock
    on the door
    It’s time for makeup,
    perfect smile
    It’s you they’re all
    waiting for
    They go…
    “Isn’t she lovely, this
    Tarrytown girl?”
    And they say…
    CHORUS:
    She’s so lucky, she’s a star
But she cry, cry, cries in her
    lonely heart, thinking

    BRENDA: If there’s nothing missing
    in my life
Then why do these tears come
    at night?

    AMBER: Lost in an image,
    in a dream
But there’s no one there to
    wake her up
And the world is spinning, and
    she keeps on winning
But tell me what happens when
    it stops?
    They go…
    “Isn’t she lovely, this
    Tarrytown girl?”
    And they say…
    CHORUS:
    She’s so lucky, she’s a star
But she cry, cry, cries in her
    lonely heart, thinking

    BRENDA: If there’s nothing missing
    in my life
Then why do these tears come
    at night?

    AMBER: I-I-I whoa-oh-oh-oh
Roger Johnson: “Best actress, and the winner is…Brenda!”
    AMBER: I-I-I whoa-oh-oh-oh
Roger Johnson: “I’m Roger Johnson for Pop News standing outside the arena waiting for Brenda”
    “Oh my god…here she comes!”
    AMBER: Isn’t she lovely, this
    Tarrytown girl?
She is so lucky, but why does
    she cry?
    If there's nothing missing in
    her life
    Why do tears come
    at night?
    (And they say...)
    CHORUS:
    She’s so lucky, she’s a star
But she cry, cry, cries in her
    lonely heart, thinking

    BRENDA: If there’s nothing missing
    in my life
Then why do these tears come
    at night?
    CHORUS:

AMBER: She’s so lucky, so lucky
But she cry, cry, cries in her
    lonely heart, thinking

    BRENDA: If there’s nothing missing
    in my life
Then why do these tears come
    at night?

AMBER: So Mom what did you think of that song?
    BRENDA: Sweetie, I love it.
    AMBER: You did Mom?
    BRENDA: Yes I did Sweetie.
ALL: We all liked it Amber.
BRENDA: Sweetie did you hear what they said?
AMBER: I sure did Mom they said that they all liked it also.
BRENDA: That’s what you all said right everyone.
    ALL: Definitely, Brenda.
BRENDA: OK everyone I think it is almost bedtime. So let’s go and get some shut eye because we have a big day tomorrow.
NARRATOR: Brenda was right that did have a big day for them tomorrow.
