Devastating Fire

I was out with my friends last night (Wednesday May 20th) at Tim Hortons when one of my friends got a phone call from his mother telling him that was a fire at very popular resturant called Maid Marian’s Diner plus Sherwood Drug Mart and Sherwood Smoke Shop. We could see the smoke and flames from Tim Hortons where we hanging out. We phoned all our friends to let them know. It's very sad because it Maid Marion's Diner was all so busy. I never got a chance to go there. I'm really hoping that will rebuild it so that I can. Here are some pictures of the fire:





The Sherwood Drug Mart has a set up a temporary location across the street in an adandon bank building. There's enough money in damage control to build them again. The Sherwood Drug Mart will hopefully be back up in November. The caused are the fire is still unknown but will be accounuced soon and when it does I'll let everyone on here know.

They are going to rebuild both the resturant and the drug mart. They should be up and running by November of this year.

I never got around to tell what the cause of the fire was. It was caused by an oil leak in the kitchen. The three buildings have all been rebuilt. They made the Sherwood Drug Mart bigger. Maid Marian's Diner and Sherwood Smoke Shop are still combined. I still haven't gone to Maid Marian's Diner but my mother has been there twice since it reopened. My boyfriend and I are planning there to go there for supper on 1 year anniversary on September 15th which is 5 days before my 27th birthday.

That's nice. Glad the buildings are back up.

well that is good that it reopened but how much is the damage??

I finally got the chance of going to the new Maid Mariens with my mother, and two friends from church one afternoon after church. It's really nice and we order a large order of fries to share between us. I still liked to really go with my fiance sometime but we haven't gotten around to it.
