I just wanted to let everyone on here to know that I haven't been feeling that great since Thursday afternoon. It started out just a natsy cold but I have Laryngitis and I can't talk at all. It's a really good thing that I know some sign lanugage so that I get use to make point across. I also got a little notebook to print out what I want to say to people. My mother and I are going to the doctor on Monday March 13th at the clinic not far from us to get medical opinion on the situation of my Laryngitis. I'll let everyone on here now when I get my voice back.

I went down the walk-in-clinic here where I live and seen my mother's doctor. She checked me out. She that's more in my sinus that's the problem but there is some irritation around my throat too. She gave me some medicine for it and I took some as soon I got home. I can't tell that it's started to work because my nose isn't stuffed up and my cough isn't as bad it was. I still don't have my voice back but it's slowly getting there. I'm just going to write things for people to read or whispers. I can't talk on the phone to my friends because I'm not sure they would be able to hear me.

Oh, Rolanda, I feel soooo sorry your voice is gone! I hope it comes back soon. Be sure to drink plenty of liquids and get lots of rest.

Thanks Michelle. I have been get plenty of rest and lots of fluids. I have been feeling a lot better since I got the medicine the doctor prescribed for me. The first time that I had it started working right away. My cough is more looser now and my ears don't hurt as much I still don't have my voice. I've been reduced to whisper and writing in notebook when I want to tell somebody something. I also know a little sign language too. I know to say thank you and you're welcome in sign language. I also know the alphabet in sign language but there some of the letters I forget sometimes. I have book called The Joy Of Signing plus I took a Sign Language course a couple years back. The main reason I took the course so I could communicate with a elder man at my church who is hearing impaired.

I now on handle on control my cough. My nose isn't plugged up and I'm starting to be able to smell again too. My left ear started to feel a lot better. My right is still really sore because doctor said that there's a lot more fluid in my right ear than my left ear. I'm glad that I went to doctor when I did otherwise it could have turned into Swimmer's Ear again. I had that a few years back and trust it's no fun at all. I could hear alright but when I talked it could hear echoing in my ear. I had to take ear drops for it until it got better. I've been having a problem my ears ever since. I mention something to doctor about it and she said that sometimes Swimmer's Ear will do that the ear. My voice is still really hoarse but I'm learning to live it. It's change for me because I'm really loud like Moe so for everyone around it they find it weird not hear me talk and be loud. I'm not going to be as loud when I get my voice because it has taught me than lesson that quieter is sometimes better.

I finally got my voice back but it's still a hoarse at times. I'm so happy to have it back so that I can talk to my friends again. If I talk to much it hurts a little but after it stops hurting. The medicine is really it wonders and I'm glad that I got it. It's taste really good too so that's a big bonus. I don't medicines that taste bad especially Buckleys but like the motto of Buckleys "It tastes awful but it works." I prefer banana flavored medicine myself.
