The Tale Of The Haunted Woods Part 1

It’s Halloween night. The Midnight Society are gathered around the campfire. Tucker has an extra special story to tell. The rest of the Midnight Society are talking really loudly and agreeing about whose turn it is to go. Tucker cleared his throat. Andy looked at Tucker.
ANDY: What’s wrong with you?
TUCKER: I have an extra special story to share with you all on this Halloween night.
VANGE: What’s it about?
TUCKER: We normal tell stories that aren’t true well this one is true
QUINN: What do mean by its true?
TUCKER: It happen to me, my older brother Gary, his friend Frank, Gary’s girlfriend Gena, Gena’s best Renée along with Gena and Renée’s older siblings.
Megan looked at Tucker.
MEGAN: Do mean your brother Gary as in founder of the Midnight Society?
TUCKER: Yes that’s who I mean.
VANGE: What happen?
TUCKER: We went into these woods that supposed to be haunted and strange things start to happen.
QUINN: What kinds of strange things?
TUCKER: That will all be answered when I tell you the story.
VANGE: Wow this sounds like it’s going to be a good story.
MEGAN: Yeah I agree completely with you on that one.
VANGE: When did this happen?
TUCKER: It happen three years ago on Halloween night.
MEGAN: Well than let’s hear it.
QUINN: Yeah let’s here it.
Tucker smiles a little than takes out a leather pouch.
TUCKER: (as he reaches in and grabs a handful of some plain sugar from the leather pouch): Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this story... (he then tosses out some plain sugar from the leather pouch into the campfire to heighten the flames and produce an eerie white smoke) The Tale of The Haunted Woods. Three years ago just two days before Halloween I was hangout with older brother Gary, his friend Frank, his girlfriend Gena, Gena’s best friend Renée, Gena and Renée’s siblings at the school library.
FRANK: Do you guys have any ideas as to what to for Halloween this year?
GARY: I don’t have any and playing tricks is getting old.
FRANK: I was thinking that we could check out the woods on outskirts of town.
CAROL: Isn’t that woods supposed to be haunted?
FRANK: Yeah it is that’s whole reason why it would so good to see if really is.
Carol started to shiver.
GARY: Frank, lay off you’re scaring her.
FRANK: Aw come on Gary. Where’s your sense of adventure?
GARY: I don’t think it’s a good to go there plus if something happen especially to Gena or Tucker I would be a lot trouble.
FRANK: Gary is chicken. Gary is a chicken.
GARY: I am not a chicken Frank.
FRANK: Than prove it by coming with me.
GENA: If Gary’s going than I am too.
Gena turned to her best friend Renée.
GENA: Are you coming too?
RENEE: Yes I am because as long as Galen can come too.
GARY: (smiled): Galen is welcome to come.
RENEE: Alright count me in.
Galen suddenly appeared.
GALEN: Count you if for what?
RENEE: We have decided to go into the Haunted Woods on Halloween night and the only way that I'm going is if you come too.
GALEN: I'll go for sure because I'm not afraid of anything and someone has to be there to protect you.
Carol looked at everyone.
CAROL: I’ll go but I do like the idea of it.
Frank put his arm around Carol.
FRANK: Aw Carol is afraid of ghosts.
CAROL: (takes Frank’s away from around her): Yes I’m afraid but you don’t have to rub it in my face.
Frank grinned than walked off. Gary looked at Carol that at Gena.
GARY: I’ll be in a few minutes angel.
GENA: Where are you going?
GARY: I’m going to find out why Frank was acting that way.
GENA: I’ll miss you.
Gary smiled than pulled Gena up into his arms and kissed her than leaves. Gary ran after Frank.
GARY: Frank wait up.
Frank turned around just as Gary caught up to him.
FRANK: Why are you following me?
GARY: I want to why you are always so mean to Renée's older sister Carol.
FRANK: That’s none of your business.
Gary grinned a little.
GARY: Are you in love with Carol?
FRANK: No I’m not. Why would ask me that?
GARY: Come on Frank. I know that I’m right otherwise you won’t pick on her like you do.
FRANK: I’m not in love with her.
GARY: I dare you to look me in eye and tell me that.
Frank sighs.
FRANK (looks Gary in eye): I’m…..not…..in…..love….with…Carol.
GARY: Hah you can’t say it so that means it’s true and I’m right.
FRANK: Oh okay you got I am in love with her but I just can’t get up the nerve to tell her. She would never fall for guy like me.
GARY: You don’t know that and you really shouldn’t talk like that.
Frank smiled a little.
~Meanwhile where Gena, Renée and Carol are~
They can see Frank and Gary perfectly from they are. Carol looked at Frank started to smile. Renée noticed Carol smiling and so did Gena.
GENA: Are you in love with Frank by any chance?
CAROL: Yes I am but I just scared to admit for fear that he’s doesn’t feel same way about me.
A few minutes Gary and Frank come back over. Gary takes Gena’s hand and takes her out of earshot.
GENA: Why did you do that?
GARY: I wanted time alone with my beautiful girlfriend and I need to talk to you about something.
GENA: Gary that’s so sweet. I also need to talk you too so you go first.
GARY: Ladies first.
Gena smiled than kissed Gary on the cheek.
GENA: I found out that Renée's older sister, Carol is in love with Frank.
GARY: Well I found out that Frank is love with Carol.
GENA: Are you serious?
GARY: Yeah I am but he doesn’t think that she would fall for a guy like him.
GENA: If he only knew that she does like him.
GARY: Well maybe going to the Haunted Woods might bring them together.
GENA: How is that going to bring them together?
GARY: I’m not sure but I have a feeling that it will.
Gena walks home and goes inside. Gena’s mother Terri walked into the hallway.
TERRI: Hi Gena.
GENA: Hi mom.
TERRI: Could you do me a favor of Halloween night?
GENA: Yeah sure I can mom.
TERRI: I need you take Bindi and Robert trick-or-treating. I was talking to Renée’s mother about this. She also wants to take Renée’s younger siblings Wayne, Mason, Marta and Rayna with you.
Gena sighed.
GENA: You can count on me mom.
Gena went to Gary and Tucker’s house. Gena knocks on the door. Gary and Tucker’s mother Gabby opens the door.
GABBY: How can I help Gena?
GENA: I came to see Gary.
GABBY: He’s up in his room.
Gena smiled than walks up to Gary’s room. Gary is lying on the bed starting at the ceiling. Gena walked into the room without Gary knowing. Gena walked over to Gary’s bed than laid down beside him and kissed him on the cheek. Gary looked at Gena than smiled.
GARY: What are you doing here angel?
GENA: I missed you gorgeous so I came to see you. Also my mother asked me to take my younger siblings along with Renée’s younger siblings trick-or-treating on the Halloween.
GARY: What about going to the Haunted Woods?
GENA: Well have to go after the trick-or-treating is done because I can’t the younger ones there because my mother and Renée’s mother would get really mad if they found out.
GARY: That’s true they would.
Gary’s younger sister Trina walked by the door.
TRINA: Hi Gary. Hi Gena.
GENA: Hi Trina. How are you doing?
TRINA: I’m doing just fine.
Gena smiled. Trina continued on her way. Gary wrapped his arms around Gena and started to kiss her. A few hours later Gena went home.
TUCKER: The next two days past and it was now Halloween.
Fiona and Gena are the living room of Gena’s house. Gena’s mother went into the room. Renée, Galen and Carol are standing on the other side
TERRI: Hello Renée, Galen and Carol.
RENEE: Hi Mrs. Granger.
TERRI: I’ve told you a million to call me Terri.
RENEE: Oh sorry I keep forgetting.
TERRI: That’s quite alright Renée.
Carol smiled than sighed.
RENEE: You should just tell him how you feel because you never know he might feel the same about you.
Terri looked at Carol than at Renée.
TERRI: What are you talking about?
RENEE: Carol is in love with Gary’s best friend Frank Moore.
TERRI: I have to agree with your sister on this one.
Carol sighed just as Gena appeared. The hours pass and now it’s time for trick-or-treating. Gena and Renée go trick-or-treating with their younger siblings and Fiona’s niece. They are walking around the neighborhood when suddenly a guy in mask jumps in front of them.
GUY IN THE MASK: Give me all the kids candy or else.
Carol and Renée started to get scared than suddenly Gary and Galen appeared. Galen pulled Renée into his arms.
GARY: Frank stop it.
The guy took of his mask and it is Frank.
FRANK: The whole of idea of Halloween is too scared.
Gary sighed and rolled his eyes.
GARY: Yeah I know but it doesn’t mean for to scare my girlfriend’s best friend and her sister.
Gena laid her head on Gary’s shoulder.
TUCKER: A few hours later Gena, Gary, Renée, Galen, Carol and Frank went out trick-or-treating with Gena's brothers and sisters and Renée's brothers and sisters. So they were all trick-or-treating and they got a lot of candy and after a few hours of trick-or-treating they went back home and dropped off their younger siblings and Fiona’s niece.
FRANK: Are you guys ready for the Haunted Woods now?
GENA: I’m not so sure I want to go now.
Gary wrapped his arms around Gena.
GARY: Gena my angel you have nothing to worry about because I’ll protect you no matter what.
Terri came into the room.
TERRI: What are you guys doing now?
GARY: That’s a dance at the school tonight.
Gena looked at Gary.
GENA: There is. I didn’t know that.
GARY (whispers): That’s because there isn’t. I just said that because I know that your mother would get really mad if I told that we are planning to go into the Haunted Woods.
Gena smiled. Terri smiled too.
TERRI: Alright have fun than.
Gena, Gary, Renée, Galen, Carol Frank along with Renée and Gena’s older siblings head to the Haunted Woods.

The Tale Of The Haunted Woods Part 2

Gary, Gena, Renée, Galen, Frank, Carol along with Gena and Renée's older siblings are now just reaching the woods. All of a sudden they hear a noise. Carol screamed. Renée screamed too and jumped into Galen's arms. Frank started to laugh. Carol glared at Frank.
CAROL: Frank it's not funny.
FRANK: Yes it is.
Gary shook his head.
GARY: Did you make that noise?
FRANK: No I didn't.
GARY: Are you sure?
FRANK: Yes I'm sure.
All of a sudden Carol seen a shadow in the distance. Carol started to whimper in fear. Frank pulled Carol close. Carol whimper every more.
GARY: What was that?
GENA: I don't think I want to find out.
GARY: Are you getting scared now too angel?
GENA: Yeah I am just a little.
Gary pulled Gena close to him.
GARY: You don't have to be scared because I'm here to protect you.
Gena smiled.
GENA: I always knew that was a really good reason why I love you so much.
FRANK: Carol, I want to know that I won't let any harm come to you.
CAROL: That's really sweet Frank.
FRANK: Carol, I also be hiding my feelings inside but I can't do it anymore.
CAROL: What do yo mean you're feelings?
FRANK: I'm in love with Carol and I have been for along time.
CAROL: Frank, I'm so glad to hear you say that because I feel the exact same way about you.
Gary, Gena and Renée smiled at the same time. Carol noticed them smiling and so did Frank.
FRANK: How did Gena and Renée know?
GARY: Gena found from me.
GENA:I told Renée after Gary told me.
Carol looked at Gary.
CAROL: Did you and Gena also know that I was in love with Frank?
GARY: Yes we did because Renée told us.
All of a sudden Renée looked at noticed that her older brother Maxwell is missing.
RENEE: Where's Maxwell?
CAROL: I don't sis.
Murray looked around too.
MURRAY: He was just right beside me.
MAXWELL: (from a far distance away): No, go way leave alone. Someone help!
CAROL: We have to find him.
Renée suddenly noticed Galen is also missing. Renée started to panic.
GENA: What's wrong with you?
RENEE: Galen is gone too.
CAROL: Hello Galen. Can you hear me?
GALEN: (from a distance): Yes Carol I can and help I'm trapped.
RENEE: I can't go without him because I terrified.
GARY: It's the only way to find him.
RENEE: I know that Gary but he was protect me and now he's not here.
Murray looked James and Grant.
MURRAY: It's up to use to protect our younger sister till we find Galen.
JAMES: Renée take my hand.
Renée took James's hand. Renée started to shiver. Grant took of his jacket and put around Renée's shoulders. Murray, James and Grant both stood very close to their younger sister.
GRANT: Do you feel a little safer?
RENEE: Yes I do but not as safe as I feel with Galen but it will do till we find him.
MURRAY: We also have to Maxwell too.
CAROL: (yelled out) Max, are you anywhere near Galen?
MAXWELL: (yelled out): No, I'm not but I think I know where he is.
Renée smiled a little.
RENEE: (yelled out to Maxwell) Where are you at?
MAXWELL: I'm just stuck in a tree not far from where are because I can see all of you.
Gary looked around and stopped Maxwell in the tree just ahead.
GARY: I can see him.
They walked over to tree where Maxwell is. Carol looked up.
CAROL: How did you get up there?
MAXWELL: I was be chased and I climbed to get around from what was chasing me.
FRANK: Did you see what see what chasing you?
MAXWELL: Yeah it was a scary looking boney person.
MURRAY: How are we going to get him done?
Renée opened her backpack and took out a blanket.
RENEE: We can use this.
GARY: What else do you have in there?
RENEE: A rope, some scissors, a first aid kit and a whole lot of other stuff.
They take an end of blanket.
MURRAY: Alright Max, just jump.
Maxwell jumped and landed on the blanket. Renée looked at Maxwell and hugged him.
RENEE: What direction is Galen in?
MAXWELL: If you all follow me than I'll show you.
They started to follow Maxwell. They walk for seems forever than suddenly Maxwell stopped at cliff.
CAROL: Why did you stop?
MAXWELL: I stopped because he's down there.
Renée leaned over the side of cliff.
RENEE: Galen, are you down there?
GALEN: Yes I am.
RENEE: Are you okay?
GALEN: Yes I am but it's really dark down here.
RENEE: Galen, you're not afraid of the dark.
GALEN: I know that but it's freaky.
RENEE: Do you want to throw you down a flash-light?
GALEN: That would good than I can see.
Renée took a flash-light out of her backpack and threw it down to Galen. Galen felt around for the flash-light than turned in it on. Galen shined the flash-light around to see where he is.
GENA: What's down there?
GALEN: A whole bunch rotting corpses.
Carol shivered.
CAROL: Eww, that's so gross.
Renée took out a rope.
RENEE: I'm going throw down a rope so that we can pull you up.
GALEN: That's good because I think I seen something moving down here.
Renée threw down the rope and Galen caught it.
RENEE: Alright everybody take a piece of rope and starting pulling.
They all took a piece of the rope and started pulling. Galen starting to move up than suddenly grabbed his leg.
GALEN: Pull harder because something's got my leg.
They all started to pull harder and suddenly what has got a hold of Galen's leg let go. They keep on pulling the suddenly Galen came up the cliff. Galen got to his feet and pulled Renée close to him.
RENEE: I'm so glad that you're okay.
GALEN: How did you survive without me?
RENEE: Maxwell, Murray, James and Grant look after me.
GALEN: Thanks for looking after her for me.
MURRAY: You're welcome Galen because we know that if anything happened to her you'd never forgive us.
GALEN: That's right I won't.
RENEE: How did you get down there?
GALEN: The thing that was chasing Maxwell started to chase after he climbed the tree to get away from and it pushed me down there.
All of sudden Carol screamed. Frank looked at Carol.
FRANK: What's wrong with you?
CAROL: (pointing a few inches away from them) Look over there.
Frank looked over where Carol was pointing and noticed what she saw,
FRANK: Yikes, I think we're in trouble.
The boney person that chased Maxwell and Galen walked over them.
BONEY PERSON: What are you all doing here?
GARY: Halloween was boring with all the trick-or-treating stuff we want some scary this year.
BONEY PERSON: This woods isn't a safe place.
GALEN: Why did you chase us?
BONEY PERSON: I was trying to get you out the woods.
MAXWELL: What do you mean this place isn't a safe place?
BONEY PERSON: There's a lot of weird things happen here especially on Halloween.
SERENA: What do you mean?
BONEY PERSON: My name is Tory and I came here with my friends over 10 years ago on Halloween. My friends got out of the woods safely but I got trapped and they couldn't find me so they just left me here to die.
KENDRA: Are you saying you're dead?
TORY: Yes I am and I've been trying to help people out who venture in here.
All of a sudden Carol seen something.
CAROL: What's that?
Tory turned around.
TORY: That's what killed me.
GENA: What is it?
TORY: It's an evil monster.
They all started to run off. The monster started to follow them. All of a sudden Carol tripped. Frank walked over and picked Carol in his arms. Carol smiled a little. The monster suddenly stop following them. Tory sighed.
TORY: He'll be back.
CAROL: Are you sure?
TORY: Yes I am because I know him all too well.
CAROL: Do you think he'll kill us too?
TORY: Yes I do.
FRANK: If you want to kill my girlfriend that he'll have to go through me first.
Carol smiled a little.
TORY: What are your names?
Renée smiled.
REENE: My name is Renée and the man beside me is my fiancé Galen.
GENA: I'm Renée's best friend Gena and the guy beside is my boyfriend Gary.
TUCKER: My name is Tucker and Gary's younger brother.
FRANK: My name is Frank and Gary's best friend.
CAROL: My name is Carol. I'm Renée's older sister and Franks's girlfriend.
SERENA: My name is Serena and I'm Renée's older sister.
KENDRA: My name is Kendra and Serena's twin.
MAXWELL: My name is Maxwell.
MURRAY: My name is Murray and Maxwell's twin.
JAMES: My name is James.

TORY: It's nice too meet you all.
CAROL: How did that monster kill you?
TORY: He chased me for awhile than he throw me down into the cliff. Those corpses in there are while and they started to attack. They attacked me until I was too weak to fight back. The monster came back and kill by sucking the life out of me.
FRANK: That's just sick.
Carol looked at Frank,
CAROL: Are you getting scared?
FRANK: Yeah just a little.
All of a sudden the monster return. Tory stood between her new friends.
TORY: I'm not letting you hurt them.
MONSTER: How are you going to stop me?
TORY: I'm going to fight you.
Monster just smirked than went around Tory and grabbed Renée.
GALEN: Let go of her.
MONSTER: Why should I?
GALEN: I'm not letting anyone take her away from me.
MONSTER: Well I'm not just anybody.
Renée kicked the monster which made him loosen his grip. Renée run behind Galen.
RENEE: There's no way nobody and even you is taking me away from the love of my life.
The Monster grabbed Carol.
FRANK: Leave you alone.
The Monster left with Carol.
RENEE: No, not Carol.
FRANK: Why did you say that?
RENEE: Carol is my favourite sister and I'm closest with her.
FRANK: We have to save her because if anything happens to her that I'll never forgive myself.
Renée looked at Tory.
RENEE: Do you know where he took Carol?
TORY: Yes I do but it's dangerous to go after her.
FRANK: I don't care how dangerous it is but I'm going to save her.
TORY: That's good because love is the only thing that can stop him.
GARY: What do you mean?
TORY: He doesn't know the meaning of love and any love that he sees makes him weak.
FRANK: What are we waiting for?
TORY: I don't really know.
Tory started to walk away and everyone started to follow her.

The Tale Of The Haunted Woods Part 3

They walked for what seemed forever.
RENEE: When are we going to get there? I'm getting tired of walking so much.
Galen picked up Renée in his arms.
GALEN: I'll carry you than.
Renée smiled. Tory suddenly stopped.
TORY: We are here.
Gena noticed that it front of big scary cave. Frank started towards the cave but Gary stopped him.
GARY: You can't go in there without a plan.
FRANK: Carol is in there and I have to save her before he kills her.
Frank ran inside. Carol is huddled in corner and the Monster is closing in on her. Carol noticed Frank and smiled.
THE MONSTER: Where are you smiling?
FRANK: She's smiling because I'm here to save her.
The Monster turned around to see Frank standing behind him.
THE MONSTER: Why would want to save her?
FRANK: I love her with all my heart and I'll do anything to keep her safe.
Gary, Gena, Gena's siblings, Renée, Renée's siblings, Galen, Tory and Tucker appeared. Gary pulled Gena close. Galen pulled Renée close.
GARY: I love my girlfriend Gena with all my heart.
GALEN: I love my fiance with all my heart and soul.
The Monster started to get weak from all the love talk.
THE MONSTER: Stop it I can't take all this love talk.
Renée grinned and walked over the Monster.
RENEE: You are handsome for a monster and you're just the cutest monster I've ever seen in my life.
Galen laughed. The Monster sudden blew up and standing in it's place for a young man. Tory gasped.
TORY: Is that you Trey?
TREY: Yes, it's my Tory.
TORY: Who did this happen to you?
TREY: I don't really remember but I'm sorry that I killed you.
GARY: Isn't there anyway that she can be bought back to life?
TREY: I don't know.
All of a sudden a glowing Angel appeared.
GLOWING ANGEL: My name is Vanna and I'm the guardian of these woods but because of the Monster's hold over the woods I couldn't do anything.
TORY: Can you bring me back to life?
VANNA: Yes I can but only after Terrence tells you how he really feels.
Tory looked at Trey.
VANNA: What does she mean?
Trey sighed.
TREY: I'm in love with you Tory and I've been for a really long time.
VANNA: Trey was so jealous of the way Allan was always flirting with you that it made him turned into an evil monster.
Tory looked at Trey.
TORY: I was only flirting with to make you jealous because I've been in love with you for the longest time.
Vanna smiled and used her powers to bring Tory back to life. Tory walked over to Trey. Trey pulled Tory close and hugged her. Tory looked at her new friends.
TORY: Thanks for helping me out.
GARY: It was no problem and we are just glad that terror is all over.
VANNA: It's getting late so you better get home before you're family's start to worry.
Tory sighed.
TORY: I can't go home because my family thinks I'm dead.
Trey smiled.
TREY: You can live with me for the rest of your life.
Tory smiled and hugged Trey. They all left the woods. Gena and her siblings went home. Renée and her siblings went home. Gary and Tucker went home. Renée's mother Brooke looked at her.
BROOKE: Where have you been all this time?
RENEE: I was at the Halloween dance at school.
BROOKE: There was no dance at school because Terri and I went to check.
All of a sudden the doorbell rang. Renée walked over and opened to find Gena on the other side with her parents. The three of them walked inside.
TERRI: We want to know where you all went tonight.
Renée looked at Gena and Gena looked at Renée. Gena nodded her head.
RENEE: We went into the woods because playing tricks is getting old.
Carol suddenly appeared. Brooke looked at Carol.
BROOKE: How come didn't try to talk them out of it?
CAROL: I didn't want to go mom trust but I'm glad that I did.
Renée's father Stefan looked at Carol.
STEFAN: What do you mean you're glad you did?
CAROL: I was finally able to admit my feelings to Gary's best friend Frank and I found out that he likes me too.
BROOKE: How did you survive without getting killed like the young girl a few years back?
RENEE: We actually help solved the mystery of what happen and now she's alive thanks to a very friendly angel named Vanna.
Brooke's face as play as a ghost. Stefan looked at his wife.
STEFAN: What's the matter honey?
BROOKE: Vanna is the name of my twin sister who passed away three years before I met you.
RENEE: Are you saying that angel was possible my dead aunt?
BROOKE: Yes, that's what I'm saying.
All of a sudden Vanna appeared in front of them.
VANNA: Hello sis.
BROOKE: Why did you help them?
VANNA: I didn't want to see anything happen to them.
RENEE: Did you know that I was your niece?
VANNA: I wasn't completely sure but I kind of had a feeling that you'd looked familiar.
BROOKE: Thanks so much for watching out for them.
VANNA: It was no problem.
Vanna disappeared. Brooke looked at everyone. A few hours later everyone is bed.
