Chapter 1
Best Friends Reunited

One day Athena Hunter Blue the daughter of Tarrytown Airport's Ace Mechanic, Brenda Blue and best friend to Diana Prince was with her family on their way to Washington DC to see Diana Prince whom they haven't seen in 10 years since she left Paradise Island and about 5 years ago they themselves left Paradise Island and moved to Tarrytown, New York where Athena's mother, Brenda Blue got a job as the Ace Mechanic at Tarrytown Airport.
ATHENA: Mother can I go see Diana, please?
BRENDA: Of course you can, baby girl. You can ask her if she wants to meet us at the Mall for lunch.
ATHENA: Ok. Thanks, Mother. Diana is going to be so surprise to see me when I go see her at the IADC.
BRENDA: The IADC?
ATHENA: Yes. Didn't you know Diana is an IADC Agent here in Washington DC?
BRENDA: No I didn't know.
A few minutes later Athena arrived at the IADC. The lady at the front desk who's name was Beverly wouldn't let Athena see Diana at first.
BEVERLY: Excuse me miss but you're not allowed in here without a pass.
ATHENA: I'm just here to see Diana Prince.
BEVERLY: How do you know Ms. Prince?
ATHENA: Oh, Diana and I are best friends. I haven't seen her for 10 years. Tell her that her best friend is here to see her and I'm sure that she'll let me come up to see her.
BEVERLY: Ok, I'll do that. I just need your name.
ATHENA: Athena Hunter Blue.
So Beverly called Diana Prince.
BEVERLY (on the phone): Excuse me, Ms. Prince?
DIANA (on the phone): Yes, what is it, Beverly?
BEVERLY (on the phone): There is a girl here claiming she says is your best friend.
DIANA (on the phone): What's her name?
BEVERLY (on the phone): Athena Hunter Blue.
DIANA (on the phone): Oh my gosh. I haven't seen Athena for I think 10 years now. Send her right up please.
BEVERLY (on the phone): Alright I'll tell her.
A few minutes later Diana and Beverly hung up on each other.
BEVERLY: Well Ms. Blue, you can go up to see Ms. Prince.
ATHENA: Thank you.
BEVERLY: By the way here is your visitors pass.
ATHENA: Thank you.
So Beverly told Athena where to find Diana's office and Athena went up to see Diana. When she got there she knocked on the door and when the door open Athena saw Diana's boss the handsome Colonel Steve Trevor.
STEVE: May I help you miss?
ATHENA: Oh hi, I'm Athena Hunter Blue and I'm here to see Diana Prince. May I come in please?
STEVE: Of course you may.
So Steve let Athena come in.
STEVE: Diana has told me about you?
ATHENA: She has?
STEVE: Yes she has.
Steve used his intercom and called Diana who was in her office.
STEVE: Diana would you come here for a second.
So than the door to Diana's office that is connected to Steve's office opened and Athena saw Diana and Diana saw Athena.
DIANA (as she hugged Athena): Oh my gosh, Athena. I'm so happy to see you.
ATHENA (as she hugged Diana back): I'm happy to see you to.
DIANA: What are you doing here?
ATHENA: I wanted to see you so I asked my mother if we could come here to see you since we haven't seen you for years now.
DIANA: Where is your mother?
ATHENA: Oh she and the rest of my family are at the Mall and we were wondering if you would like to join us for lunch.
DIANA: I would love to.
Diana told Steve that she is going on her lunch break with Athena and Steve said it was ok and that she had an hour. So now Diana and Athena are outside the IADC building.
DIANA: So Athena how long have you been here?
ATHENA: Here in America or here in Washington DC?
DIANA: Both actually.
ATHENA: Oh well I just got here today and I and my family have been in New York for the past 5 years.
DIANA: What were you doing in New York?
ATHENA: My mother is Tarrytown Airport's Ace Mechanic.
DIANA: Tarrytown Airport?
ATHENA: That's the airport in Tarrytown, New York.
DIANA: I never heard of Tarrytown before.
ATHENA: Oh it's just a small town that's all.
DIANA: Oh I see.
ATHENA: By the way, Diana who was that handsome guy I met earlier?
DIANA: That was my boss, Steve Trevor. Do you really think he is handsome?
ATHENA: Yes I do. Don't you think he's handsome, too, Diana?
DIANA: Actually I have but since he's my boss I can't do anything about how I truly feel about him.
ATHENA: How you feel about him?
DIANA: The truth is I'm in love with him but he doesn't know that I am.
ATHENA: Why doesn't he know?
DIANA: Like I said before he is my boss so I can't be romantically involved with him.
ATHENA: Diana, let me tell you something.
DIANA: Tell me what?
ATHENA: My boyfriend, Jason Hunter is my mother's boss at Tarrytown Airport. Also he is kind of my boss too because I'm my mother's assistant.
DIANA: How long have you been with him?
ATHENA: We've been together for 4 years now.
A few minutes later Diana and Athena arrived at the Mall and joined Athena's family in the food court for some lunch.
BRENDA: Good to see you again Diana.
DIANA: It's good to see you again, too, Brenda.
BRENDA: Athena told me you work of the IADC. Is that true?
DIANA: That's true.
BRENDA: What does IADC stand for?
DIANA: Inter-Agency Defense Command.
A few minutes later they got their lunch and ate it and than Diana had to go back to the IADC building. While Athena's family had to go back to Tarrytown Airport. Athena asked Diana if she can stay with her.
ATHENA: Diana could I stay here with you?
DIANA: Of course you may. As long as it's ok with your mother?
ATHENA: Mother can I please stay here with Diana?
BRENDA: Of course you may, baby girl.
ATHENA: Thanks, mother.
BRENDA: What will Jason say about you not returning?
ATHENA: Mother if he asked why I didn't return tell him that I wanted to stay with Diana a little while longer and also I would like him to come here himself so he can meet Diana.
BRENDA: Oh, ok I will tell Jason that.
A few minutes later Athena hugged her mother and said good-bye to her family and walked back to the IADC building with Diana.
ATHENA: Diana does Steve Trevor know your (whispering) Wonder Woman secret?
DIANA: No he doesn't.
ATHENA: Why doesn't he know?
DIANA: I can't let anyone outside of (whispering) Paradise Island know that I'm Wonder Woman.
ATHENA: I think he should know after you tell him your feelings for him.
DIANA: I guess you're right about that. I mean after I tell him my feelings for him, I know that I can't keep any secrets from him.
ATHENA: How true that is.
DIANA: Do you think that Steve will keep it a secret?
ATHENA: I'm sure he will.
A few minutes later Diana and Athena were back in Steve Trevor's office at the IADC.
ATHENA: Steve may I talk to you for a moment alone?
STEVE Of course you may, Athena.
Now Steve and Athena were out of earshot of Diana.
STEVE: By the way how do you know my name?
ATHENA: Diana told me when we were walking to the Mall to have lunch with my family. Speaking of Diana how do you feel about her?
STEVE: How do I feel about her?
ATHENA: Yeah. How do you feel about her?
STEVE: Well she is very beautiful. She's brillant. In fact she's one of the best agents I've ever had.
ATHENA: You sound like you're in love with her.
STEVE: Well I guess you could say that I am. Please don't tell her that I am.
ATHENA: How long have you been in love with her?
STEVE: Ever since I first met her.
ATHENA: Does she know you're in love with her?
STEVE: No she doesn't.
ATHENA: And you have kept your feelings for her a secret from her all this time?
STEVE: Yes I have.
ATHENA: So Steve you can keep any secrets?
STEVE: Yes I can keep secrets. Why?
ATHENA: Oh, no reason I was just curious that's all. I'm going to go see Diana.
Now Athena was with Diana in her office.
ATHENA: Hi, Diana.
DIANA: Hi, Athena. What were you talking to Steve about?
ATHENA: Oh I wanted to ask him if he could keep any secrets.
DIANA: And what did he say?
ATHENA: He told me that he can keep any secrets.
DIANA: So if I told him my (whispering) Wonder Woman secret he will keep it a secret?
ATHENA: Yes he will.
A few minutes later Diana and Athena were back with Steve in his office.
STEVE: Diana how long have you and Athena known each other?
DIANA: We've known each other since we were very little.
ATHENA: That's right. Ever since Diana and I first saw each other we became fast friends.
DIANA: Yeah and ever since then the two of us have connected to one another.
ATHENA: Diana that reminds me of a song. Would you like to sing it with me?
DIANA: Of course I would.
So Athena told Diana the song they are going to sing. The song they are going to sing is "Connected" as heard by Liana and Alexa from Barbie and the Diamond Castle.
ATHENA (singing): I'm blindfolded on this carrige ride that they call life

ATHENA: Diana taught me how to sing.
DIANA: That's right.
STEVE (thinking): WOW! Diana has a beautiful singing voice.
Later that night Diana was in her bed dreaming about Steve. Steve was in his bed dreaming about Diana. Athena was dreaming about seeing Jason again and Jason was dreaming about seeing Athena again.

That was a great chapter. I liked when Athena went to visit Diana. I liked when they talk about Diana been in love with Steve. I liked when the sang the song together. I really liked the part when Steve was thinking that Diana had beautiful singing voice and I really liked the ending.
