    Scene 1
NARRATOR: So now it's Christmas time in Lazy Town & everyone is getting ready for the Christmas party on Christmas day. We're not letting Sportacus help because all this is a surprise for my Sportacus.
AMBER: Is everyone helping with the Christmas decorations?
    EVERYONE: Yes!
AMBER: Very good. Wow everything is looking very festive for the Christmas party which is on Christmas day.
    GREG: Amber when is Christmas?
AMBER: Why Greg it is in five days which that means today is the 20th of December & it is also my birthday.
MARY LOU: So is that why you're in charge & not helping us with the decorating?
AMBER: Yes Mary Lou that is right.
NARRATOR: So after that I went to go see my baby the GORGEOUS Sportacus to see what he is doing.
AMBER: Sportacus, sweetheart what are you doing up here with our girls?
SPORTACUS: Sweetie the better question is what are you doing down in Lazy Town with all our friends. Plus the girls were beginning to miss you.
ANNELIESE: Mommy, Erika & I have made you something.
AMBER: You did girls, what is it?
ERIKA: It's this, Daddy will you help us with the song by doing the "Birthday Candle Dance."
AMBER: Whoa, wait is it a song you are going to sing to me?
ANNELIESE: Yes it is a song.
ANNELIESE, ERIKA (singing) & SPORTACUS (dancing): Have a happy birthday you-oo
    We'll have a great day too-oo
    Everybody play
    It's Mommy's special day
    Happy Birthday
    (Spoken): Blow out the candles.
AMBER: Oh girls that was wonderful. Sweetheart you were absolutely wonderful at that dancing.
ANNELIESE & ERIKA: Thank you, Mommy.
    AMBER: You're welcome, girls.
    SPORTACUS: Thank you, sweetie.
    AMBER: Why, you're welcome sweetheart.

    Scene 2
NARRATOR: So after Sportacus & our girls sang & dance that "Birthday Candle Dance" song, I went back down to Lazy Town to check on the decorations.
AMBER: So how is everything going & Robbie why aren't you helping?
    ROBBIE: I despise Christmas.
    AMBER: What?
ROBBIE: I mean I hate Christmas.
AMBER: Robbie how can you hate Christmas. Christmas is supposed to be the happiest time of the year. I mean I was born five days before Christmas. That day will be today.
TERRI: Sweetheart you better make sure that Sportacus doesn't see the Christmas decorations before the Christmas party.
AMBER: Not to worry, Mom, Sportacus is up in the airship with the twins.
TERRI: Sweetheart I don't think that he is up there?
AMBER: Mom what do you mean that he is "not up there"?
TERRI: Sweetie what I mean is that he is right behind you.
NARRATOR: So I turned around & there was Sportacus right where my Mom said he was.
AMBER: Sweetheart what are you doing down here I though that I told you to stay up in the airship & never to come down here for five more days. Hon, where are the twins?
SPORTACUS: They're up in the airship.
AMBER: You left the girls up there by themselves. How, why would you do something like that they're only five years old. Sweetheart they can't take care of them by themselves yet.
SPORTACUS: Sweetie I'm sorry that I left them by themselves. I promise to make it up to you. What do you want me to do to make it up to you?
AMBER: You can start by going back to the airship & staying up there until I say that you can come back down.
SPORTACUS: Ok sweetie I guess that I could go back up there on one condition?
AMBER: What will that be sweetheart?
SPORTACUS: That you come with me.
AMBER: Honey, I would love to, but I can't sweetheart, I'm so sorry but I will be up there in a few minutes I promise.
SPORTACUS: How will I know that you will not break your promise?
NARRATOR: After Sportacus asked me that I gave him a kiss so that he will know that I will keep my promise & that I will never break the promise.
SPORTACUS: Sweetie, I will be waiting for you & I will have the twins in bed by the time that you get up there.
    AMBER: Thank you, baby.
    SPORTACUS: You're welcome, sweetheart.

    Scene 3
NARRATOR: So now it is two days before Christmas eve & everyone has finished decorating for the Christmas party & I asked everyone if they would like to sing some Christmas carols.
AMBER: Hey, everyone since we're almost finished decorating for the Christmas party how would you like to sing some Christmas carols maybe that just might get Robbie to help with the decorating?
GREG: So Amber what song do you want me to sing?
AMBER: Greg I want you to sing the song "The Little Drummer Boy." I am going to sing the song "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas." We will all sing the song "Deck the Halls" together. Then I will sing the song "The First Noël."
NARRATOR: So after that Greg began the song that I wanted him to sing & all the while Robbie was near by listening to us.
GREG (singing): Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see, pa rum pum pum pum
    Our finest gifts we bring,
    Pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the King, pa rum pum pum pum
Rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum

So to honour Him, pa rum pum pum pum
    When we come

Little baby, pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too, pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum
That’s fit to give our King,
    Pa rum pum pum pum
Rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum

Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum
    On my drum

Mary nodded, pa rum pum pum pum
The ox and lamb kept time,
    Pa rum pum pum pum
I played my drum for Him,
    Pa rum pum pum pum
I played my best for him,
    Pa rum pum pum pum
Rum pump pum pum, rum pum pum pum

Then He smiled at me, pa rum pum pum pum
    Me and my drum.
NARRATOR: Then it was my turn to sing my song & the song that I'm going to sing is called "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas."
AMBER (singing): Jolly old Saint Nicholas,
    lean your ear this way!
Don't you tell a single soul
    what I'm going to say:
    Christmas Eve is coming soon;
    now, you dear old man
    Whisper what you'll bring to me;
    tell me if you can.

When the clock is striking twelve,
    when I'm fast asleep
Down the chimney, broad and black,
    with your pack you'll creep
All the stockings you will find
    hanging in a row
Mine will be the shortest one,
    you'll be sure to know

    (guitar solo)

Johnny wants a pair of skates,
    Suzy wants a sled
    Nellie wants a picture book,
    yellow, blue, & red
Now I think I'll leave to you
    what to give the rest
    But choose for me, dear Santa Claus;
    you will know the best.

Now I think I'll leave to you
    what to give the rest
    But choose for me, dear Santa Claus;
    you will know the best.
    (piano solo).
NARRATOR: Now everyone is going to sing the song "Deck the Halls" together.
    EVERYONE (singing): Deck the halls with boughs of holly;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
    'Tis the season to be jolly;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

Don we now our gay apparel.
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
    Troll the ancient Yuletide carol.
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

    See the blazing Yule before us;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
    Strike the harp and join the chorus;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

    Follow me in merry measure;
    Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la!
    While I tell of Yuletide treasure;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

    Fast away the old year passes;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
    Hail the new ye lads and lasses;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

    Sing we joyous all together;
    Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la!
    Heedless of the wind and weather;
    Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
NARRATOR: So after we sang that song it was my turn again to sing another song & that song is "The First Noël."
AMBER (singing): Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël
Born is the King of Israel

The first Noël, the angel did say
    Was to certain poor shepherds
    In fields as they lay
    In fields where they
    Lay keeping their sheep
    On a cold winter’s night
    That was so deep

    Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël
Born is the King of Israel

    When they looked up
    They saw a star
    Shining in the the East
    Beyond them far
    And to the earth
    It gave great light
    And so it continued
    Both day and night

    Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël,
Born is the King of Israel.

They spied the light of that same star,
    Three wise men came
    From country far;
    To seek for a King
    Was their intent,
And to follow the star wherever it went.

This star drew night to the North West
Over Bethlehem it took its rest
And there it did both stop and stay
Right over the place where Jesus lay

    Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël,
Born is the King of Israel.
Born is the King of Israel.
NARRATOR: So after that Robbie said something that took us all by surprise.
ROBBIE: Fine, fine I'll help if you just stop that singing please.
EVERYONE (looking surprise): Thank you, Robbie.
ROBBIE: Yeah, yeah you're welcome, whatever.
NARRATOR: So after Robbie helped us with the decorating it was time to get in bed because tomorrow is the day before Christmas eve.

    Scene 4
NARRATOR: Now it's the day before Christmas eve and I'm asking the kids if they would like to make a Christmas present for Sportacus.
AMBER: Hey kids how would you like to make a Christmas present for Sportacus? I bet that he would just love your homemade presents & you can make anything that you want to make for Sportacus.
TRIXIE: Are you sure that Sportacus would love what we make him for Christmas, Amber?
AMBER: Yes, Trixie, I'm sure that he would because I know my Sportacus & I also know that he likes homemade gifts.
ZIGGY: How do you know that he likes homemade gifts, Amber?
AMBER: Because I asked him what his idea of the perfect present would be & he told me that it was homemade gifts that are the best presents. Because those are the ones that come from the heart.
NARRATOR: So now the kids are working on their gifts for Sportacus & I'm going to check to see what my baby the GORGEOUS Sportacus is doing with the twins. Before I go up there I asked the kids if they would like to help me with my Christmas present for Sportacus.
AMBER: Hey kids how would you like to help me with my Christmas present for Sportacus?
    THE KIDS: Sure thing, Amber.
    AMBER: Thanks, kids.
THE KIDS: You're welcome, Amber. What are you making Sportacus for Christmas, Amber.
AMBER: I'm just writing a song for him & I ned your help to sing it to Sportacus on Christmas day which is only twos days away.
PIXEL: What's the song that you wrote for Sportacus that you want us to help you sing it to Sportacus on Christmas day called Amber?
AMBER: Well Pixel, the song is called "A Holiday Song" & I need you to tell me what you like about the holidays so that I could arrange them in the song that I'm writing for Sportacus. So wil you guys help me with that please?
    THE KIDS: Sure thing, Amber.
    AMBER: Thanks, kids.
    THE KIDS: You're welcome, Amber.
AMBER: So Stephanie what do you like about the holidays?
STEPHANIE: Well I like making homemade gifts like we're doing for Sportacus.
AMBER: So Pixel what do you like about the holidays?
PIXEL: Well I like generosity. That's because I like making something & then giving it to someone else like we are now.
AMBER: That's a good one Pixel. So Ziggy what do you like about the holidays.
ZIGGY: Well I like playing the game dreidel.
AMBER: I think I know why.
    ZIGGY: Why?
AMBER: Because when you win you get chocolate money. Is that why you like to play the game dreidel, Ziggy?
ZIGGY: Yes that is the reason why, Amber.
AMBER: So Trixe what do you like about the holidays?
TRIXIE: Well I like a big Christmas tree.
AMBER: So Stingy what do you like about the holidays?
STINGY: Well I like the star that we put on top the Christmas tree.
AMBER: So does anyone else have something else that they like about the holidays?
    STEPHANIE: Yes I do Amber.
AMBER: Well what else do you like about the holidays, Stephanie?
STEPHANIE: I also like the menorah.
AMBER: Ah the menorah from Hanukkah.
THE KIDS: And don't forget a visit from our good friend Sportacus.
AMBER: Oh yeah right I almost forgot about that. Thanks for reminding me kids.
    THE KIDS: You're welcome, Amber.
NARRATOR: So after that I told the kids that I'll sing the song first & that I'll point to each of the kids when I want them to sing the part in the song so that they know when to come in, when they sing it with me to Sportacus on Christmas day during the Christmas party.
AMBER: So kids, first I'll sing the song by myself & I'll point to each one of you when I want you to come in when we sing it for Sportacus on Christmas day at the Christmas party.
THE KIDS: Ok, Amber we can try that.
NARRATOR: So after that I sang that song to them so that they know when they should come in when we sing it for my baby the GORGEOUS Sportacus on Christmas day at the Christmas party.
AMBER (singing): What I really like about the holidays is
    Spending time with loved ones
(points to Stephanie) Making homemade presents
(pointing to Ziggy) Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
    (pointing to Pixel) Generosity
(pointing to Trixie) A big Christmas tree
(pointing to Stingy) A tree top star
    (pointing to Stephaine) The menorah
(pointing to herself & the kids) And a visit from our good friend Sportacus.
NARRATOR: So after that I asked them how they liked it & they told me that they loved it. So now we're up in the airship & the twins are watching their daddy make gifts for his friends & family down in Lazy Town. Sportacus is asking the twins to keep an eye out for me so that I don't see what Sportacus is making for all of us.
THE TWINS: Daddy, Mommy is coming we think that you should hide all that so that Mommy doesn't see it.
    SPORTACUS: Thanks, girls.
    THE TWINS: You're welcome, Daddy.
    AMBER: Hi, honey, I'm home.
SPORTACUS: Hi, sweetheart. The girls were beginning to miss you because you were down there a very long time we thought that you were never going to get up here & I was also starting to miss you, too.
AMBER: I was missing you three, too. Sportacus you don't mind if I talk to the girls alone do you?
SPORTACUS: No not at all, sweetie. If what you want to tell the girls that you don't want me to know that is fine. I'll just go over here & you can go over by the bed & tell them what you want to tell them.
    AMBER: Thank you, baby.
    SPORTACUS: You're welcome, sweetheart.
AMBER (whispering): So girls do you know what tomorrow is, but don't let Daddy know what tomorrow is, ok girls?
THE TWINS (whispering): Ok, Mommy. Mommy what is tomorrow?
AMBER (whispering): Well, girls tomorrow is Christmas eve. Do you girls know what I'm getting Daddy for Christmas?
ANNELIESE (whispering): No, Mommy, what are you getting Daddy for Christmas?
ERIKA (whispering): Yeah, Mommy, what are you getting Daddy for Christmas?
AMBER (whispering): Well, girls I wrote him a song & on Christmas I'm having the kids help me sing the song to Daddy.
THE TWINS (whispering): You wrote Daddy a song, Mommy what is the song called that you wrote for Daddy?
AMBER (whispering): The song is called "A Holiday Song."
NARRATOR: Then it was time to get the girls in bed. So Sportacus & I got them in bed like we always do with a song.
AMBER: Sportacus it's time to get the girls in bed so let's sing them a good-night song.
SPORTACUS: So sweetheart do know what song we will sing to them & let it be the song that we sing to them everynight from now on?
AMBER: Hon, I have the perfect song that we could sing to the girls & the song is called "Count Your Blessings." Sweetheart you sing the chorus with me & I'll sing the verses by myself.
BOTH (singing): Count, count, count your blessings one by one
Count, count, count your blessings, every one
And you will have so many, I am sure you’ll say
I could never count them in a hundred days
So count, count, count your blessings, every one

AMBER (singing): I’ve got a baby brother
I’ve got a voice to sing
    I’ve got a little sister
    We share most everything

BOTH (singing): Count, count, count your blessings one by one
Count, count, count your blessings, every one
And you will have so many, I am sure you’ll say
I could never count them in a hundred days
So count, count, count your blessings, every one

AMBER (singing): I know someone who loves me
    I met a friend today
Together we had so much fun
We laughed, we smiled, and played

BOTH (singing): Count, count, count your blessings one by one
Count, count, count your blessings, every one
And you will have so many, I am sure you’ll say
I could never count them in a hundred days
So count, count, count your blessings, every one
AMBER (whispering): Sweetheart look the girls are asleep so we better be quite or we'll wake them up & we don't want to do that now do we?
SPORTACUS (whispering): No we don't so let's tip-toe back to our bed as quiet as we can ok, sweetheart.
NARRATOR: So that is exactly what we did. We tip-toed back to our bed so that we wouldn't wake our girls.

THE KIDS: Yes, we do, Amber.
    AMBER: Good.
TERRI: Sweetheart shouldn't you be getting Sportacus & the twins right about now because the Christmas party is about to begin.
AMBER: Oh, yeah, you're right I should probably do that shouldn't I & I'm going to do that right now, so bye guys & don't star without us.
NARRATOR: So now I'm going back up to the airship to get Sportacus & the the twins & tell them that they can come down now.
SPORTACUS: Girls let me know when your mother is coming back up. So that way I will have enough time to hide the gifts for her & our friends.
ANNELIESE: Daddy, I think that you should probably hide them now because here comes Mommy.
    SPORTACUS: Thanks, honey.
    ANNELIESE: You're welcome, Daddy.
    AMBER: Hi, sweetheart.
SPORTACUS: Baby, what are you doing up here so soon?
AMBER: I just came up to tell you that you can come down now.
SPORTACUS: Are you sure that I can come down, now?
AMBER: Yes, sweetheart you can come down that's what I just said.
SPORTACUS: Sweetie will you please take the girls down there & wait for me under the airship & I will be right down I just have to do something right now?
    AMBER: Sure thing, baby.
NARRATOR: So as I'm bringing down the girls Sportacus is getting the unexpected surprise gifts ready.
SPORTACUS: Ok, I'm ready, honey will you lead the way because I have no idea where we're going?
AMBER: Sweetheart I think you should close your eyes & take my hand.
    SPORTACUS: Ok, sweetie.
NARRATOR: So now the four of us are at the party.
AMBER: Sweetheart stay right where you are, but keep your eyes closed. (whispering) Are you guys ready to surprise Sportacus with your gifts?
EVERYONE (whispering): Yes we are, Amber.
AMBER (whispering): Good. Should I tell Sportacus that he can open up his eyes now. As Sportacus opens his eyes you will all say "Merry Christmas, Sportacus." I'll say "Merry Christmas, sweetheart" after you say what you need to say to him & after the twins say "Merry Christmas, Daddy." So are you ready, now?
    EVERYONE (whispering): Yes.
AMBER: Sweetheart you can open your eyes right now.
    EVERYONE: Merry Christmas, Sportacus.
    THE TWINS: Merry Christmas, Daddy.
AMBER (as she gives him a kiss): Merry Christmas, sweetheart.
NARRATOR: So when Sportacus opened up his eyes he is surprised to see that his wife & his friends have planned a Christmas party. Then he said this:
SPORTACUS: What is all this for?
AMBER: Sweetheart it's a Christmas party that we all planned for you.
    EVERYONE: Amber!?!
AMBER: Ok that I had planned just for you, sweetheart, but everyone helped by getting all the decorations up.
SPORTACUS: Everything looks so very beautiful just like you, sweetie.
    AMBER: Thanks, baby.
    SPORTACUS: You're welcome, sweetheart.
NARRATOR: So after that I asked the kids if they would like to give Sportacus their gifts that they made for him & to help me sing mine to him, too.
AMBER (whispering): So kids would you like to give Sportacus the gifts you made for him right now & then help me sing mine to him?
THE KIDS (whispering): Sure thing, Amber.
NARRATOR: So after I told the kids thanks then they gave their gifts to Sportacus.
STEPHANIE: Sportacus, the kids & I have made you something & we hope that you like them so here open mine first then you can open up the rest from the other kids.
NARRATOR: So Sportacus is opening up Stephanie's gift that she made for him & here's what he said about the gift from Stephanie.
SPORTACUS: Oh, Stephanie it's wonderful I absolutely love it. It's that me doing a split in the air?
STEPHANIE: Yes, it is Sportacus & I drew that myself.
SPORTACUS: You did? I didn't know that you could draw this good?
    ZIGGY: Open mine up Sportacus.
NARRATOR: So after Sportacus opened up all the gifts from the kids I told him that I have written a song just for him & that the kids are going to help me sing it.
AMBER: Honey, I have written a song just for you & the kids are going to help me sing it to you. Do you want to hear it?
SPORTACUS: I would love to hear the song that you have written just for me, sweetheart.
AMBER: Ok then, kids are you ready to sing the song?
THE KIDS: Yes we are, Amber.
AMBER (singing): What I really like about the holidays is
    Spending time with loved ones
    STEPHANIE (singing): Making homemade presents
    ZIGGY (singing): Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
    PIXEL (singing): Generosity
TRIXIE (singing): A big Christmas tree
STINGY (singing): A tree top star
    STEPHANIE (singing): The menorah
AMBER & THE KIDS (singing): And a visit from our good friend Sportacus.
NARRATOR: So after the kids & I sang that song to Sportacus, he surprised us all with something very special & if you want to know what they are here's Sportacus to tell you what they are:
SPORTACUS: Well everyone I have something very special for all of you & for the kids here's yours. (giving the kids their gifts) For Amber's brothers & sisters I made these for. (giving Amber's brothers & sisters their gifts) For Amber's parent's I made you these for you. (giving Amber's parents their gifts) For my twins I made you these for you (giving the twins their gifts) & for my sweetheart I have this for you. Merry Christmas, baby. Merry Christmas to all of you.
AMBER (looking up above her head): Why honey it's mistletoe.
NARRATOR: So after I notice that it was mistletoe Sportacus & I gave each other a very, very, very, very, very, very, very long kiss. Then after we kissed I told him that we thought that he didn't know that it was Christmas.
AMBER: Baby I thought, we thought that you didn't know that it was Christmas & so that's why we kept this all a secret from you. I had no idea that you knew that it was Christmas. You totally surprised us all when you said that you made us something for Christmas.
NARRATOR: So after that we had our Christmas feast that my parents cooked for us.
STEPHANIE (singing): Bing-bang, digga-rigga-dun, Funny words I sing when I am dancing, dancing. (Echoing) Bing-bang, digga- rigga-dun, Silly words that can mean anything. Get on up; It’s time to dance, yeah. It’s so much fun being up on our feet. So we go up, up, do the jump. Twirl around and clap your hands together. (Echoing) Down, down turn around. Having fun is what it’s all about. Oh, one, two, me and you, Move around and clap your hands together. (Echoing) Three, four, on the floor, Having fun is what it’s all about.
NARRATOR: So after Stephanie sang that last note she did the splits and of course as always Sportacus dipped me again.
