A Love So True
One day a beautiful young girl named Michaela was looking out her bedroom window when all of a sudden she saw 3 of the boys come running out of the woods.
MICHAELA: What were those boys up to? They know they aren't suppose to go into the woods. My father, the Mayor forbids it.
A few hours later her father walks into her room.
MAYOR: Michaela, tomorrow the whole town and I are going to go up to Someplace Else.
MICHAELA: Why?
MAYOR: Well Seth and Leonard's mom told me that the freak that lives there were scaring them and so I told the town and we've all decided to go there tomorrow.
MICHAELA: Father would you excuse me for a few minutes or so?
MAYOR: Yeah sure. Are you going to go see Geena?
MICHAELA: Yeah that's what I'm going to go do.
MAYOR: Do you want me to come with you?
MICHAELA: NO! I mean no, I'm sorry father, but I need to do this by myself. Do you trust me?
MAYOR: Of course I do, you're my girl. I know that you'll never lie to me.
So Michaela said good-bye to her father and went to go see her best friend, Geena.
MICHAELA: Geena, I need to talk to you for a moment alone.
GEENA: Oh ok.
Now Michaela and Geena were out of earshot of everyone.
GEENA: What do you want to talk about?
MICHAELA: Well, my father told me that he and the whole town are going up to Someplace Else.
REENA: When? Why?
MICHAELA: Tomorrow and I don't know why. My father didn't tell me why they were going up there exactly.
GEENA: What are you going to do about it?
MICHAELA: I'm going to go with him tomorrow.
GEENA: I should come with you tomorrow, as long as Geffrey comes with me.
MICHAELA: Well of course he can. In fact the whole town is going.
The next day the Mayor calls a town meeting.
MAYOR: Everyone, I called this meeting because tonight we are going to go to Someplace Else and make that freak leave town.
Later that night it was dark and stormy and the townspeople were marching up to Someplace Else. They soon got to the gate of Someplace Else.
KENDALL: Why don't we just leave him alone?
LEONARD: He hasn't hurt anybody. Can't we just go.
SETH (as he hits his brother): It's your fault jerk, just couldn't keep your mouth shut.
HEATHER (as she hits Seth): He did the right thing.
MAYOR: He's a weirdo. There's no place in this town for weirdos.
Then the gate open up by themselves.
DANTE: See, (stuttering) that isn't a good sign.
Everyone walks forward and up to the front doors and they too open up by themselves.
LEONARD: Just like last time it's the ghost.
SETH (as he hits his brother): Shut up!
HEATHER (as she hits Seth): Don't hit your brother.
EDWINA: There's no such thing as ghosts, honey.
MAYOR: I'm going to prove it to you kid. Let's go.
They walk inside.
AMY: Did anyone call and make sure this is a good time? Maybe we should come back later.
SHAWNETTE: Yeah, like when it's light out. You know like daytime.
They continue to walk inside and pass a grand staircase. The front doors shut by themselves which makes them jump. They soon feel a bit of a breeze.
DANTE: Oh, damn.
They continue to walk futher inside and come across some doors which shut by themselves. They come to another set of doors which open up to a grand ballroom. They walk into the grand ballroom and the wind blows some open doors shut. Then a crow flies by them making them jump.
PAT: What was that?
They then see something walk into the next room. Lightening flashes revealing a shadowy figure. The lightening flashes again and the shadowy figure has disappeared. They all walk closer to where they saw that shadowy figure. The lightening flashes again to reveal a skeleton face and scaring everyone. The skeleton figure walks closer to them. The skeleton figure removed the skeleton mask to reveal just his eyes and everyone sighed with relief.
MAESTRO (as he removes the mask completely showing the rest of his face): Did I scare ya?
Some of them shook their heads yes, but still a little scared.
KENDALL: That's him mom.
EDWINA: I see.
KENDALL: That's the guy.
LEONARD: Hi.
SETH: Sorry.
MAYOR: No you didn't scare me. Maybe you scared them, but you didn't scare me.
MAESTRO: Well that's too bad isn't it? I guess I have to try harder next time.
MAYOR: There won't be a next time.
MAESTRO: (as he puts his skeleton mask down): Oh, really.
MAYOR (sarcastically): Oh, really.
MAESTRO (as he takes his black cloak off): No, next time, huh. Why is that?
MICHAELA (thinking): WOW!!! He is so gorgeous.
MAYOR: We want you out of town.
MAESTRO (as he saw Michaela): WOW!!! She is so beautiful.
MICHAELA: Father stop!
The Mayor slaps his daughter. Maestro is getting a little bit mad.
MAYOR: He have a nice normal town, normal people, normal kids, we don't need freaks like you telling any ghost stories.
MAESTRO: So you don't believe in ghosts?
KENDALL: I do.
SHAWNETTE: Me, too.
EDWINA: Hush up. You see what you've done. Aren't you a shame? Young people are impressionable.
LEONARD: Show them the neat stuff you did for us?
SETH (as he hits his brother): Shut up that's suppose to be a secret.
HEATHER (as she hits Seth): Don't hit your brother.
Heather all of a sudden gets hit herself but no one touched her.
MAYOR: You're weird, you're strange and I don't like you.
MICHAELA: Father he's not strange or weird.
MAYOR (as he slaps his daughter and she falls to the ground): That's enough from you young lady.
Michaela struggled to get up but she couldn't.
MAESTRO (thinking): That's it I'm getting grumpy now.
The whole time Maestro is trying to scare the Mayor, Michaela is still lying down on the ground not moving and Maestro is trying hard not to help her even though he wants to, but he knows that he can't until after he tries and scares the Mayor.
MAYOR: You're scaring these kids. Living up here all alone.
MAESTRO: I'm not alone. You're right I do like scaring people. Yes but it's just for fun. Don't you kids enjoy when I do my (as he twirls his hands in circles) you know?
The kids shake their heads yes.
MAYOR: Well, the fun's over. Back to the circus you freak. And do yourself a favor, ok. Don't force us to get rough with you, because we will if we have to.
TOWNSPEOPLE: I'm not going to hurt anybody.
MAESTRO: You're trying scare me, aren't you? I, tell you what, we'll play a game. Anybody here like games? Hello? (claps his hands) Game time!
SETH: Yes.
MAESTRO: The first person that gets scared has to leave. How about that?
AMY: I'll go, please.
MAYOR: I don't play games with freaks.
MAESTRO: There's no need to be rude.
AMY: Yes I agree there's no need to be rude. You have a very lovely home, and I'm afraid we over stayed our welcome so we're going to go ok can we go.
Maestro snaps his fingers making her stop talking.
MAYOR: Are you going to leave? Or am I going to have to hurt you?
KENDALL: We're not going to hurt him.
DANTE: I'm not going to hurt anybody.
MAESTRO: You are trying to scare me. I guess I have no choice, guess I have to scare you. Watch this.
He turns around with his back towards them and then he turns to face them.
MAESTRO: *phew* Tell me, do you think this is scary? (laughs)
He makes a funny face and the townspeople starting laughing.
SETH: That's it.
MAYOR: That's ridiculous!
Everyone continues laughing.
MAYOR: That's not funny!
MAESTRO: Ok, fine what about this one?
He turns his face away from them, then he makes another funny face. Everyone laughs again.
HEATHER: Is that it?
MAESTRO: Did that scare you?
MAYOR: Did you hear what I said, freaky boy? It's time for you to go.
MAESTRO: Is this scary?
Maestro pulls his face sideways, everyone gets scared. Then he pulls his face down and stretches his mouth.
LEONARD: WHOA!
Maestro ultimately pulls off his face to reveal his skull and laughing maniacally. The frightened townspeople run for the doors, but Maestro shuts them with his magical powers, then he smashes his skull with his fists, revealing his normal head. Dante cries a little.
MAESTRO: Are we going somewhere? Hello? (laughs) It's too late. You're my guests. And by the way, did I tell you I wasn't alone?
Maestro points his right hand towards a set of doors they open up and scary music is heard.
MAESTRO: Meet the family.
He then introduces them to his family of ghouls who joins him in some dance routines. A few minutes later he starts singing "2 Bad."
MAESTRO (singing): Told me that you're doin' wrong

Then the ghouls are running all over the place and flipping off the walls and stuff. A few minutes later they walk up the walls and flip on to the ceiling and now they are walking on the ceiling. Then the Mayor and Maestro gives each other a dirty look. Maestro stops the ghouls and they flip off of the ceiling and float gently down to the ground. Then Maestro tears his skin off to reveal his skeleton. Then he as the skeleton starts dancing like Michael Jackson.

Then the skeleton walks up to the Mayor grabs his tie and pulls him forward then he spins to a ledge high above the ground and then he has two ghouls fly at the Mayor trying to scare him but that didn't work. Then all the ghouls turn around to face the Mayor and everyone else and they were all getting scared and then they dropped to the ground and started hitting their foot on the floor and then the ghouls fell on to their backs and then they sat up and started doing some dances which were making the townspeople scared and then they started going towards the Mayor and then the skeleton snapped his fingers to make the ghouls stop and then he spun around in the air and turned into a Superghoul.
MAESTRO: Are you scared yet? (laughs evilly)
Then he goes inside the Mayor and started making him dance like Michael Jackson but the Mayor refused at first but then he started dancing like Michael Jackson.
There's a ghost down in the hall

MAYOR: STOOOOOOOP!!!!
Then the ghouls disappeared. All of a sudden Maestro's hand pops out of the Mayor holding a mirror and the Mayor looked in the mirror and then he took off his glasses then the Mayor turned into a ghoul himself.
MAYOR: Who's scary now? Who's the freak now? Freaky boy! Freak circus freak! Who's scary?
The townspeople were getting a scared and then the Mayor laughs evilly.
MAYOR: Who's weird now?
Then the Mayor dropped the mirror and Maestro flew out of the Mayor and then the Mayor stumble a little and put his glasses back on and then when he looked up he saw Maestro standing in front of him. Maestro then walked to were he was facing everyone and then he took a bow.
MAESTRO: So, you still want me to go?
The kids were shaking their heads no.
MAYOR: YES! YES!
MAESTRO: Then fine, I'll go.
Just then Michaela was coming to as Maestro went to the ground and smashed his hand against the floor and then he stood up on his knees and then he smashed his other hand against the floor and then he smashed his face against the floor.
MICHAELA: No, don't go.
Then Maestro was just lying there and then his whole body turned to dust and the wind was blowing it all away. Soon as he was gone Michaela screamed out.
MICHAELA: COME BACK!
The townspeople just stood there looking at the spot where Maestro was lying.
MAYOR: Good, riddance.
MICHAELA: Father!
MAYOR: Let's go.
MICHAELA: No, father.
MAYOR: Let's go.
The townspeople looked at the Mayor and then back to where Maestro was lying and now they see Michaela there on her knees. To their surprise Michaela was crying.
MICHAELA (crying): I may never see him again.
As she was sitting on her knees she started singing "I Miss You" by Miley Cyrus.
MICHAELA (singing): Sha la la la la, sha la la la la

After Michaela sang that song her father was getting angry.
MAYOR: Let's go.
MICHAELA: Guys if my father runs past you stop him before he escapes.
MAYOR (as he walks up to the door and was about to open it): Showed that freak.
Then when he opened the door a huge demonlike head of Maestro popped out.
MAESTRO: HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!
That made the Mayor fall on his butt and then he got scared and tried to run away but the townspeople did what they were told to do by Michaela and they stopped him.
MAYOR: Let me go.
MICHAELA: No, father.
MAYOR: Please.
MICHAELA: Father it's about time you and everyone else knew the truth.
MAYOR: What's that?
MICHAELA: I'll tell you later.
Then everyone turned around and saw Maestro standing in the doorway.
MAESTRO (walks up to them): Did I scare ya?
The townspeople were talking all at once and saying different things.
MAESTRO: But, did we have a good time here? (awkward silence) HELLO?
The townspeople were saying that they did have a good time. Maestro laughs. Then all of a sudden something walked up behind Maestro.
MAESTRO: What? (whispers) What?
The townspeople pointed behind him and then he turned around slowly and what he saw scared him.
LEONARD (pulling the skeleton mask from his face): Did I scare ya?
The townspeople started laughing when they saw who it was.
MAESTO: No. Well, maybe. How about that maybe?
KENDALL: Yes.
Maestro laughs. Then he helps Leonard off of Kendall's shoulders.
SETH: Excuse me?
MAESTRO: Huh?
SETH: Excuse me, yeah. Um, (gives an evil grin) is this scary?
He grabs his mouth and then everyone started screaming. After all the scaring was done. Michaela ran up to Maestro and gave him a passionate hug.
MICHAELA (as she runs up and hugs him passionately): I thought I'd never see you again.
MAESTRO: Yeah I know.
MAYOR: Stop hugging him this instant, Michaela!
MICHAELA: No, father, I won't.
MAYOR: Why is that?
Michaela didn't answer her father instead she turned and asked Maestro what his name was.
MICHAELA: What's your name?
MAESTRO: Maestro. What's your name?
MICHAELA: Michaela.
MAESTRO: That's a beautiful name.
MICHAELA (as she blushes a little): Thanks, Maestro.
MAESTRO: Michaela I have something I want to tell you.
They go out of earshot of the townspeople and the Mayor.
MICHAELA: What is it Maestro?
MAESTRO: Michaela, I love you.
Michaela was caught off guard when he told her that he loves her.
MICHAELA: I-I-I-I-I just can't say it right now.
MAESTRO: That's ok. I did kind of catch you off guard when I said that. You can tell me when you're ready.
MICHAELA: Thanks, Maestro.
Just then Maestro gave Michaela a passionate kiss on the lips in front of the townspeople and her father. When they are saw that they couldn't believe what they were seeing.
MAYOR: Michaela stop kissing him at once.
Michaela and Maestro broke their kiss and Michaela turned to face her father.
MICHAELA: Father, I won't.
MAYOR: Yes you will.
MICHAELA: Says who?
MAYOR: Says me.
MICHAELA: Why should I do as you say?
MAYOR: One, I'm your father. Two, I'm the Mayor and three, well I'm your father.
MICHAELA: Yeah so. Just because you're my father that doesn't mean I always have to listen to you all the time.
MAYOR: Now get away from him at once!
MICHAELA: No, I don't want to. I lost him once and I'm not going to lose him again.
MAYOR: Do you think that I care?
MICHAELA: Well no not at all, but it's not what you want is about what I want.
MAYOR: What is it that you want?
MICHAELA: I want you to leave Maestro alone.
MAYOR: I will once he leaves town.
MICHAELA: If he leaves town then I'm going with him.
MAYOR: Oh, no you're not.
MICHAELA: Oh, yes I am.
MAYOR: No, you're not.
MICHAELA: Try and stop me father.
MAESTRO: I can't believe you're his daughter.
MICHAELA: Well, I can't believe it either.
MAYOR: Why is that?
MICHAELA: Well for one you and I are nothing alike, father.
MAESTRO (telepathically to Michaela): Yeah, especially in your appearance.
MICHAELA (telepathically to Maestro): What do you mean by that?
MAESTRO (telepathically to Michaela): Well he's fat and you're not.
MICHAELA (telepathically to Maestro): Well you have a point there.
Michaela and Maestro started laughing a little.
MAYOR: What's so funny?
MICHAELA: MYOB, father.
MAYOR: MYOB?
MAESTRO: Yeah, that means mind your own business.
MAYOR: I think not.
MICHAELA: Why is that father?
MAYOR: Well, Michaela your business is my business.
MICHAELA: Oh, I think not.
Maestro pulls Michaela close and kissed her passionately. Michaela's father was watching them kiss and he is still not happy with his only daughter kissing what he calls a freak, a weirdo.
