Got Some Exciting News Today!!!!

I got a letter in mail today from Special Olympics here where I live. I've been selected go to the 2010 Special Olympics in London, Ontario for Bowling. I'm so happy right now because this is my first games since I started Special Olympics 4 years ago.

I was in a provincial Bowling Tournament over the weekend. My team members are the ones that I'm going away with and we called Team PEI. My team got the Bronze Medal for our division. My boyfriend got the Silver Medal with his division and he also got Top Male for his division. He wasn't excepting to get Top Male but I had a gut feeling that he would because he's a really good bowler. My average for the whole weekend was 117.6 which is way better than last because my average last year was 88.

oh wow congrats littlecupcake u r a better bowler then me cause i kind of not really good at bowling even my bf is better then me cause the other day my bf and i went bowling for our date since i pay for it and guess what he bet me two times

I'm getting really excited about it because it's two more months. My boyfriend found out last weekend that there's a chance that he's going because he's top alternate pick for Softball is someone doesn't listen to coach than gets kicked off the team, gets sick or hurt. I really want him to come with us because I don't want to be away from him for a whole week and during the time will be our 10 month anniversary. I really want to be with him that day but if I have to end up phoning him than that's okay too but it won't be the same as having with me.

It's only 3 weeks till I go away. I'm getting really excited about it. The only thing is that I'm going to miss my boyfriend and my friends while I'm gone. I'm lucky that a few of my friends are going with me. I can't stand one of the ladies that I'm bowling with because she's so annoying but I'll have deal with it. The other lady that is going is really cool and over the past little I've become very good friends with her. My mother has become really good friends with the lady's sister over the past little while.

There's only two weeks until I go away now. I'm getting so exciting about going away but I'm really going to miss my boyfriend and my friends.

I head out at 6:00am on Monday July 12th, 2010 to London, Ontario. I'm really excited about it but I'll miss my boyfriend and my friends. If anyone on here wants to keep up with what's going while at Special Olympics National Summer Games than you can at this website:

Thanks. I'm back from the Special Olympics now. The Bowling team that I was on won a Bronze medal. The Softball team won Gold. The Swimmers won some medals too. The whole team took back a total of 20 medals.

It will be a year in June since I went away for Special Olympics. I had to learn how to bowl one handed before I went away. My average was 88 when I started out. It went up to 113 just before I went away. My mother asked the guy in charge of the bowling last week what my average was now and it's 145 now. I also bet it twice last week in bowling because if the first game I got 151 and the second game I got 163. I had to take a couple of stronger balls from another lane because every since I came I find that some of the balls aren't stronger enough for me anymore. I decided to get my own bowling ball. It's going to be Lavender & Pink with my first name on it. I have to ask my bowling coach when I went away what weight he thinks would be best for me than I'm going order this summer so that I can have it for the fall when bowling starts up again.
